Mary Ann Zapalac has been specializing in art for instructional media for over twenty years.
Before launching her own business in 1993, she earned a master's degree in medical illustration from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas. After working for several years at the same institution as as a staff medical illustrator, Mary Ann sought to expand her horizons at an educational
software company where she created art and animations for K-3 reading curriculum software.
Her work continues with publishers and professionals in the healing arts, children's education, labor, environmental and occupational health, cognitive and developmental testing, and the natural sciences.
